On paper, the idea of standing 75 different women in front of 75 different wallpaper designs created in 75 different years sounds completely silly and maybe even a bit pointless. Once you see the finished product, however, you might say, "Now, I get it! That's neato!" It's still a little bizarre and random, but as an art project it's pretty nifty. Of course, that may just be the part of us that likes seeing 75 women go topless talking, but that part of us always did have a good eye for art.

Dave Naz' "Circa '82": Bring Your Own Pop Rocks

Superstar erotic photographer turned porn director Dave Naz has released his latest opus for Vivid Alt: it's called "Circa '82" and it focuses on the generation of disenchanted young adults who rejected both the hippy values of the counterculture that failed their parents and the rampant materialism of the Reagan years while embracing and angry punk rock music and hot experimental sex instead. Matters of verisimilitude aside, it's still beyond entertaining to see the cast reenact those heady years of social malaise and heavy eyeliner: Sasha Gray fits right into 1982 with her radical pre-Brazilian era bush, while Fleshbot faves Madison Young, Ashley Blue (who helped write the screenplay), Lexi Belle, and newcomer Maya Hills turn in stellar performances as well, all to a soundtrack featuring punk rock legends Keith Morris, Don Bolles, and Jim Lane from Circle Jerks along with 45 Grave, Germs, and Killroy. Since "Transformers" was such a cinematic tour de force certain to win upwards of 15 or 16 Academy Awards for awesomeness, it's only natural that Hollywood would take more of our precious childhood memories and exploit them: we just learned that G.I. Joe, he of the tribe of little plastic guys we used to bury in the sandbox and catapult across the driveway with firecrackers, is being turned into a live action movie. If that didn't make us ~~sad~~ psyched enough, imagine our glee at finding out that the evil temptress, The Baroness, is being played by the nippletastic Sienna Miller.

It may seem like an odd casting choice, but given Sienna's recent track record and the fact that Baroness was responsible for some of our first pre-adolescent "funny feelings," there's a pretty solid chance that this PG adventure could become a R-rated skinflick. Inspired by this news, we decided to seek out what we assumed would be a wealth of G.I. Joe babe fan art and hardcore fantasy fiction, except ... there isn't any. We know the mythology is a little dude heavy, but you're going to tell us that no one on the web has ever thought to dramatize a Scarlett-on-Snake Eyes-on-Destro threeway? Yet, outside of those silly "remixes" and this study of Joe's anatomically incorrect behind, there ain't much there.

We'll still share what little we found, but come on, folks! We'd expect this lack of ambition from fans of M.A.S.K. but not the Real American Hero! If you like watching other people sweating as much as we do, you're probably familiar with Joe Weider, who founded magazines like Muscle & Fitness and Flex and built a bodybuilding empire with nothing but a nice set of pecs and a dream. (He also foisted Arnold Schwarzenegger on a unsuspecting America, but that's another story.) If you were also once a horny teenage boy like some of us were, you might also be familiar with Joe's smoking hot wife Betty, who modeled for and helped sell his fitness regime well into her sixties. Attack Of The Retro Boobies ... IN 3-D!

As far as we can tell, there's only one problem that the internet has yet to solve (yep, just one)—how to look at 3-D pictures on your computer monitor. We're betting that most people don't have an extra set of blue and red specs just laying around the house, and even if you do, those in-your-face images don't quite jump off that iPhone screen like you would hope they would. (Desktops are soooo May 2007.) Despite these technical limitations, you can still enjoy this Flickr collection of retro nude pinups from the '50s and earlier. They're shot in that classic old timey style that everyone loves; they're just a tad fuzzier than normal. Staring a little too long might you give a bit of a headache, but that still beats renting Jaws 3 one more time.

If you didn't know any better, you might think that first-time feature filmmaker Anna Biller's story of a swinging 70s housewife's sexual awakening was an actual lost movie by the likes of Russ Meyer or Radley Metzger. But Biller's "cult freak-out retro 1970's spectacle" is a wholly modern confection, one that's at least as notable for its period-perfect attention to set detail and costumes (the work of the director herself) as for its plot: "Barbi becomes a Red Riding Hood in a sea of wolves, and quickly learns a lot more than she wanted to about the different kinds of scenes going on in the wild '70's, including nudist camps, the hippie scene, orgies, bisexuality, sadism, drugs, and bohemia ... Whether you're looking for naked people dancing, alcoholic swingers, stylish sex scenes, a sea of polyester, Hammond organ jams, glitzy show numbers, white horses, blondes in the bathtub, gay hairdressers, or psychedelic animation, VIVA has it all!" There's actually a little more to it than that, but photographer Eric Mertens taught himself the long-lost practice of wet-plate developing and is using it to create some rather interesting portraits. It's a complicated process that requires some exacting effort, but we think the results are remarkable. If only those early photo pioneers had access to more pierced and tattooed ladies, the whole history of the medium might have turned out a lot different ...

In an industry that churns out an estimated 12,000 titles a year, practically any adult movie released before the turn of the millennium counts as "vintage" already. But Papa's extensive retro smut collection as documented on his Joyscape search engine blog focuses on those obscure porn titles which might be worth another look, if only for their titles and boxcover art alone; links to archived clips and vidcaps are an added bonus. The extensive archive delivers a walk down dirty memory lane for seasoned porn enthusiasts—and is definitely recommended for anyone whose smut-watching experience barely grazes the golden age of VHS. We hate to think we might have gone to our graves without knowing about such overlooked 80s classics like "For Your Thighs Only" and "Beverly Hills Copulator". They sure don't make 'em like that anymore. (Then again ... )

Now that we've had a chance to examine her charms more closely, we seem to remember coming across Dominique F. at least a year ago on a site that we wanted to love although something about it wasn't quite up to the standards we like to think we uphold at Fleshbot; after much deliberation by our crack editorial board, Ms. F—a perfectly wankworthy specimen herself by any criteria otherwise—was deemed not quite ready for prime time. Can a British chick be an All American Girl? Maybe she can if she's blond and shows her boobs (and kinda sorta has a mullet) like Pamela Green. Described as "the closest thing England had to a Betty Page", Pamela was a leading lady in the early wave of nudist films in the 1950s and 60s—you know, those movies where directors discovered they could get full frontal nudity past the censors if they made documentaries (in the loosest sense of the word) about nudist colonies—and collaborated with longtime fiancé George Harrison-Marks on a contemporary journal of erotic nude photography. Pamela also stripped down in Michael Powell's 1962 thriller classic "Peeping Tom", which is one of the creepiest and most overwrought non-porn voyeur movies ever, involving as it does a boner-like killer camera. In addition to lots of magazine appearances, Pamela topped off her career with a self-made documentary (with nudity and rare film strips) called "Never Knowingly Overdressed". Which just goes to show ... the lady likes being naked.

Here's some more classic pinup material for you today, this time of the hand-drawn variety: The Pin-Up Files is an online library devoted to vintage and contemporary cheesecake art, like the ones your grandpa probably had in his garage. The site has over 1,500 free images from dozens of artists—including some famous names and others that should have been—and even highlights contemporary work from those who are keeping the tradition alive (albeit in a much sexier way.) They also offer ways for you to buy many of the works in either poster or book form, so if you see something you like, you could bring it home and you know ... actually pin it up on your wall. It lacks the warming glow of your trusty monitor, but your decorator will thank you for it.

Modern Show Girls is a brand new website about models, photography, art, music, fashion and culture run by Dutch photographer and master image manipulator Visualclash. It features mostly European alt hotties, and though the models featured and interviewed on the site all seem to mark out their territory firmly on the "classy pin up modeling" side of things (one interviewee insists that she won't do anything "raunchy"), there's plenty of sexy galflesh to be seen. The allure of tease is alive and well in Europe, and the photography is nothing short of lick-your-screen luscious. And if you get tired of the lady prettiness (but why would you?), there's plenty of other sexy culture stuff to be had as well.

Atlanta-based photographer Timothy Dolph has a portfolio of pretty girls that will knock your socks off, plain and simple. We enjoyed looking at the pages of thumbnails, with their little hints of flesh, fishnet and boobage almost as much as we enjoyed looking at the photos in all their glory. (Note: We said almost.) Dolph has been shooting pretty girls long enough that he doesn't seem obsessed by one project. You can detect themes but you won't be hit over the head with any repetitive-looking photo projects. Most of Dolph's work is in the pinup and fetish portfolios, but there's also a bigger dose of the weird and wonderful in his horror and hot rods galleries. What's not to love?
