Gianna Michaels & Co. Serve Up Some "Breast Meat"

Somewhere along the line, "porn star" seems to have become shorthand for "sexy, liberated, confident woman." We're mostly behind this usage, but sometimes it leads to articles that are just, well, weird. Take, for example, the Frisky's recent article "Five Tips For Screwing Like A Porn Star," a solid, sex-positive piece that offers up some age-old advice for getting what you want in the sack. It is all quite lovely—but has absolutely nothing to do with porn in any way.

Let's face it: the kind of sex that porn stars have (on camera, at least), is nothing like the kind of sex that you and I want to be having. Out of necessity, porn sex focuses far more on looking good than on feeling good — a surefire recipe for bedroom disaster. We refute the Frisky's five tips (and provide video evidence from the XXX world).

Once in a great while porn takes a gigantic artistic and conceptual leap forward, destroying conventional stereotypes of what the medium should be and creating a genre-defying new paradigm that occupies the space between mainstream entertainment and morally challenging adult fare. And once again, this is not that movie: in fact, there is nothing even remotely challenging about the fifth installment of Fuxsion's "Phat Ass Tits" series. But perhaps that's just as well.

Finally, someone's created a user-editable encyclopedia that we actually have something to contribute to: Boobpedia, the encyclopedia of big boobs, lovingly catalogs the well-endowed ladies, with sections for celebrities, porn stars, models, and even amateurs. From Adrianna Lynn to Zuzanna Drabinova (with a special stop for Gianna Michaels along the way): if the breasts are big, and there are pictures to prove it, they're listed here. And if they're not, you can add them yourself. As far as we're concerned, it's things like this that totally justify the existence of the internet. (Well, that and LOLcats, of course.)

Porn Of The Moment: "Heavy Duty"

When I hear the phrase "Heavy Duty", I think of trucks and detergent, both of which are intensely pleasing to me. The delightful human-sized Gianna Michaels' appearance in a porn movie called "Heavy Duty" might seem to some to be exploitive and sizeist, but consider that most porn stars are literally the size of circus peanuts and realize that it's not wrong, Baby, it's terribly right.

Maybe it should be called "Relatively Heavy Duty" or "Heavier Duty Than Most", but my job is to inspire porn, not title it.

Watching TV With Belladonna

Via a series of mini-interviews with several of porn's shining lights (including current Fleshbot crush object Gianna Michaels in the opening seconds of the clip, even!) at Erotica LA a few weeks ago, TV Guide's John Henson proved that pornstars are just like everyone else when it comes to their television viewing habits, even if they probably go through more anti-bacterial hand sanitizer in their day jobs than the rest of us do. (Also: Do you think Belladonna would say yes if we asked her to come over one Saturday morning to watch cartoons at our place? Just wondering.)
