Despite the caginess of the AP report today, it took us all of thirty seconds to figure out the website involved in a new Army investigation into the alleged porn careers of members the US 82nd Airborne Division; after all, of all the military-themed gay porn sites out there, Active Duty is pretty much the only one that consistently features models who actually look like they've gone AWOL for a few hours to film some hot soldier-on-soldier action. So it was at the top of our list when we started searching the WHOIS database—and lo, it is indeed registered in Fayetteville, NC, which matches the information in the news article. Assuming it's Active Duty, we still don't know which of Dink's models are the seven paratroopers named in the current Army investigation; guess we'll just have to spend our weekend combing through his video catalogue and try to figure out their identities for ourselves. See the sacrifices we make for you?

Update 1/28 After being down for the last 24 hours, Active Duty is back online with most of its content available only to members, including the video catalogue (and screencap galleries) that were previously open to all visitors. As of this afternoon, though, the 82nd Airborne website is still unavailable.
(Actually, we're not that interested in knowing exactly which of the several dozen models we've
jerked off to seen on the site in the past are the seven paratroopers in question; just knowing that some of them were real soldiers when the videos were made is a lot hotter to us than knowing the specific ones.)
Also, Towleroad mentions the interesting fact that one of the two dancer/porn models who were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Montreal last year was also a member of the 82nd Airborne, which we're realizing are making us more proud to be American than we'd previously thought. Update 2/24 It is nconceivable to us that in this day and age consenting adults can be tried and convicted for the "crime" of sodomy—to say nothing of being tried and convicted for adultery, for crissakes—but that's exactly what's happened to seven soldiers from the 82nd Airborne, three of whom face court-martials.
