It was announced not that long ago that bio-pic about Madonna was in the works. Entitled Blonde Ambition, the movie takes places in the early 1980s when Madonna is about to release her first album. There isn't much other information about the film, including who will direct and who will star as the sexual icon, so we thought this would be a perfect time to look at some of our picks for the role. 

Now, we have no idea if any of these people can actually sing and honestly, we don't know if that's a big part of the film or not. Besides, they can always use Madonna's actual voice for all the singing. These picks are based on talent, looks, and a few other factors (including musical ability). Keep in mind this is Madonna early in career. Some, of course, are pipe dreams, some are out of left field, and some are spot on, but they are all great picks to play Madonna.
