Unknown Blogger Discovers Stoya’s First Porn Video

We doubt you’ve ever heard of her, but some blogger and “brand strategist” named Ultragrrrl sent around an email late yesterday informing us us that “[t]here’s some chick named Stoya who is apparently blowing up in the porn world right now” (yeah, we guess you could say that) who just so happens to be the star of a music video by some group called InnerPartySystem. And why are we bothering telling you about all these obscure people (besides Stoya, that is?) Turns out that the video, which features Stoya getting eaten out by her boyfriend Beautiful Agony-style, was actually shot shortly before Stoya descended on Porn Valley … which makes it her first porn video ever! That we know of, anyway; maybe some other unknown blogger type will point us to an even earlier one someday. In the meantime, take a peek at a piece of porn history after the jump.

(P.S. – According to this Ultragrrrl person, Stoya is also “even starring in this huge production porn that’s a remake of Pirates of the Carribean” [sic]. Wow, can’t wait to see what that‘s going to be like!)

    Gosh. That was an awfully long post-production, considering the video was just posted yesterday. I have to say, though, it’s a damned good video. As an editor, I love the mixed use of long takes and the more aggressive, short cuts. Sort of a cross between Warhol’s “Blow Job” and Brakhage’s “Cat’s Cradle.” There, that’s for my fellow film geeks.

    And what more can be said of Stoya? She’s like the dark-haired Jean Seberg of porn. Has there ever been a more naturally striking woman in the biz? Turns out she can achieve the same effect with just her facial expression that she does with full nudity and, you know, on-camera fucking. How many other porn stars can make that claim? Like, none?

    @Waelwulf: You’ll be quite happy to see the vertical set of piercings back as of June ’08. I missed them, so we made a happy compromise.

    @Slimhope: The band’s manager was waiting for the right opportunity to release the video, and if you look at the timing I think he did a great job. The Warhol’s “Blow Job” video is exactly what Steve Penta, the video’s director, showed me when he was pitching the idea.

    Nice enough song — seems not to have aged much beyond mid90s pop-goth (or whatever have you) that was epitomized by Marilyn Manson; might be a few atmospheric touches to remind of more recent fare from the Killers — but definitely a top-shelf softcore video. I am confused by the idea of attaching too much importance in one’s biograph to the ability to get pleasured orally by a boyfriend, particularly one “in the band”, though. Yes, yes, I enjoy porn more than the next, but it seems sites such as Fleshbot, & the more recent threads in erotica &/or porn (dominated by the like of BurningAngel & SuicideGirls, but also the various “alt” imprints of major porn houses), are attempting to convey that sex-work is work, is art, as much as it is sex &/or nymphomania & satyriasis (is that the spelling?). Then, we have this, which posits Stoya as little more than an update of Penny Lane, serving at the pleasure of the band & only marginally anything else.

    … Then again, I have been thinking a lot about Morganna the Kissing Bandit, lately, & longing for the return of the serial snogger, racing to the playing-field to surprise an athlete with a buss, then be gone, famous only for having gigantic breasts & no aversion to razor-burn (most jocks are scruffy cheeked). So, take my evaluation of Stoya’s first on-camera sex with a grain of salt.
